Rental Terms & Conditions | Cebu Heavy Equipment Rentals

1. Agreement to Terms

By renting equipment from JDT Cebu Heavy Equipment Rentals ("Company", "we", "us"), you ("Client", "Renter") agree to be bound by these Rental Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Company. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not proceed with the rental.

2. Rental Period & Extension

The rental period begins on the agreed delivery date and time and ends upon the return or pick-up of the equipment. The Client agrees that the equipment will not be kept beyond the agreed rental period without prior written consent from the Company.

Extensions: If the Client wishes to extend the rental period, they must notify the Company at least 48 hours before the end of the current term.
Availability: Extensions are subject to equipment availability and will be billed at the standard daily or weekly rate.

3. Payment Terms & Deposit

All rentals require a reservation fee/down payment to secure the equipment and dates. The remaining balance must be settled according to the invoice terms prior to or upon delivery.

A security deposit may be required depending on the type of equipment.
Accepted payment methods include Bank Transfer, Check, and Cash.
Late payments may incur additional administrative fees.

4. Delivery & Mobilization

The Company provides delivery and pick-up services. The Client must ensure that the delivery site is accessible and safe for heavy vehicles and equipment.

Important Note:

Mobilization and Demobilization rates depend on the site location. A FREE Survey & Site Visit is provided for locations within Cebu. For areas outside Cebu, additional transport fees will apply.

5. Equipment Operation & Safety

The Client agrees to use the equipment strictly for its intended purpose and in compliance with all local safety regulations.

Only licensed and experienced operators may operate the machinery.
The Client must provide a safe working environment and adhere to load limits.
If the equipment is rented "Bare" (without an operator), the Client assumes full responsibility for the operation and safety.

6. Maintenance & Breakdowns

The Company ensures all equipment is in excellent working condition upon delivery. Routine maintenance is handled by the Company.

If a breakdown occurs due to mechanical failure (not operator error), the Company will dispatch a mechanic immediately.
If the equipment cannot be repaired on-site, the Company will provide a replacement unit of similar capacity to minimize downtime.

7. Liability & Damage

The Client is responsible for the equipment from the time of delivery until it is returned to the Company. The Client agrees to pay for any repairs or replacements resulting from damage caused by negligence, misuse, or unauthorized modification during the rental period.

Zero Tolerance Policy:

Any damage resulting from operating the equipment under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances will result in full liability for repairs and potential legal action.

8. Cancellation Policy

The Client may cancel a reservation subject to the following conditions:

7+ Days Before Delivery: Full refund of the reservation fee.
48 Hours Before Delivery: 50% refund of the reservation fee.
Less than 48 Hours: The reservation fee is non-refundable as the equipment has already been prepared and blocked for your dates.
